Following the resignation of Sweet Pea D the Committee have agreed that only 1 team be relegated from Division 4 and two teams promoted from Division 5 to make up a full complement of 8 teams in Division 4. 

The Committee have also decided that as sides in Division 5 have played a full season two teams should be relegated to Division 6 in the normal manner and three teams promoted to Division 5 to make up a full complement of 8 teams.

The full Promotion & Relegation issues are as follows:-

Division 1 – Champions – Ibstock C, Runners Up – Kingscroft B; Relegated - Blaby A & Hinckley A

Division 2 – Promoted – Champions - Sweet Pea A, Runners Up - Hinckley D; Relegated - Hollycroft A & Hinckley B

Division 3 – Promoted – Champions –Measham, Runners Up - Market Bosworth A; Relegated - Countesthorpe A & Ambleside A

Division 4 – Promoted – Champions -Blaby B, Runners Up - Market Bosworth B; Relegated - Sweet Pea C -  (Sweet Pea D resigned)

Division 5 – Promoted – Champions -Kirby Muxloe, Runners Up - Barlestone A; Relegated - Countesthorpe B & Barwell B

Division 6 – Promoted – Champions -Burgess B, Runners Up - Kingscroft D, also promoted Shakespeare Park

As we have already received a number of serious enquiries from teams wishing to enter the League, it is hoped that Division 6 will have a full complement of 8 teams in 2010.

Unless I hear to the contrary before the end of November 2009, I will assume that all the teams who completed their fixtures in 2009 will want to enter again in 2010. Although the 2010 fixtures are not finalised until the AGM as any new applications for membership have to be agreed by the Delegates, I hope to have a provisional fixture list available by December so that if you need a copy for your Club handbook please contact me.

Thank you all for helping me throughout my first season as Secretary. I have enjoyed the challenge and look forward to continuing in 2010. The email system of sending in results has worked extremely well and hopefully we can recruit more teams to submit their results by email. Finally, for 2009 anyway, if you have any suggestions to help improve the current system please let me know.
